Sabbath and New moon greetings to each and everyone of you!
Since yesterday 7th/02/08 was the lunar 29th day of the Bible lunar 11th month, I took the time out to search for the
new moon last evening but the sky was partially overcast, leaving me in a position of not being able to had seen whether
or not that the new moon marking the beginning of the Bible lunar 12th month did indeed become visible last evening.
Confirmation have not been forthcoming that it was seen last evening by two or more Sacred
Name witnesses to time of this reporting. (There's report however of only one single Sacred Name confirmation,
for last evening, which ofcourse is insufficient, based on the Bible required amount of two
or more witnesses to establish any matter.)
I was almost faced with a similar situation this evening 08th/02/08 but Yahweh had my eyes to catch sight of
the new moon at 6:09pm (-4 GMT) in exactly 2 minutes after sunset this evening 08th/02/08 just as a huge overcast
portion of clouds was beginning to hide away the visible new moon.
I trust if you haven't seen it as yet or the sun is not yet set in your area that you'll be successful in a new
moon sighting this evening 08th/02/08 as I, if it did not already become visible last evening to
two or more Sacred Name witnesses.
A happy and joyous first weekly Sabbath and new-moon-first-day of the Bible lunar 12th month Adar to
all this Saturday (Sabbath day) 09th February 2008!

It Is Still At The Time The Barley Is In The Ear
The word Abib, used in the Bible in reference to the first moon, is a Hebrew word meaning “to be tender;
green, i.e. a young ear of grain…green ears of corn” (Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible). It
is this same Hebrew word which is translated “ear” in Ex. 9:31 KJV. The command in Deut. 16:1 to “observe
the month of Abib...” simply means to “look/watch out for the new moon becoming visible at the time there
is barley green ears of corn/grain.” “This month (moon, new moon) shall be to you the beginning
of months (moons, new moons): it shall be the first month (moon, new moon) of the year to you,” Ex.
12:2. Certainly, there was barley green ears of corn/grain in Goshen where the Israelites were residing while in Egypt (Ex. 9:25, 31, 26)
when Yahweh gave this instruction to Moses and Aaron. The word this, implies they were watching that new moon along
with Yahweh while He gave them that command. He was actually pointing out a particular moon to them. This was in the beginning
of Spring, the only time when barley green ears of corn/grain can be found. Concentrate keenly on the condition of
the barley in the Middle East, specifically in Israel (Isa. 2:3; Micah 4:2), as the ear MUST be green and ALREADY containing maturing
corn/grain at the time the new moon ALWAYS becoming visible at that stage of the barley makes its appearing. The coinciding
of both the barley green ears of corn/grain AND the new moon, at the beginning of Spring, BIBLICALLY, is STILL the
determining factor to establishing the CORRECT beginning of the year for worship purposes (Gen. 1:14; Ex. 12; Lev. 23; 25;
Num. 28-29; Deut. 16:1-17; Ps. 104:19; Isa. 66:23; Col. 2:16-17) and civil life as long as the sun and the moon exists in
the sight of all mankind.

Upcoming Aviv SearchThis year's Aviv Search will be carried out on the last few days of the
Twelfth Biblical Month expected to end on Shabbat March 8, 2008. Beginning on Wednesday March 5 the searchers will spend three
days scouring the Land of Israel for the first ripening sheaves of Aviv Barley which mark the transition to a new year in
the Creator's calendar. This is in accordance with the verse:
"Keep the month of the Aviv and make the Passover (sacrifice)
to YHWH your [Elohim] at night, because in the month of the Aviv YHWH your [Elohim] took you out of
Egypt" (Deuteronomy 16:1).
As in
previous years the Karaite Aviv Searchers will be joined by representatives from a various faiths and denominations who also
observe the Biblical Aviv-New Moon Calendar. To effectively carry out the Aviv Search we need your support. Donations for
