Greetings each and everyone in the name of our Savior and Redeemer Yahshua Ha'Mashiach.
It is expedient that even that I've not seen the new moon of the Bible fourth month that I still make the effort
of so informing you that I've searched for it this evening Tuesday 23rd June 2009 from sunset 18:39 up until 19:50
when I eventually had to call off my search without having sighted it. Having to eventually call off my search without
having sighted it is because that the sky is overcast and more so in the exact area that it would have been sighted had
the sky not been overcast.
I however earlier on in the day received an e-mail reporting from a Karaite Jew in the person of Nehemiah Gordon in Jerusalem,
Israel that the new moon was sighted from there this evening (Jerusalem Standard Time - JST) by him along with others
from two locations. His comfirmation report reads as follows:
"On Tuesday June 23, 2009 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was first sighted from Jerusalem at 20:14 by Nehemiah
Gordon and then immediately thereafter by Joelle Crawshaw, Adam Kinghorn, and Eliyahu Netanel. The moon was also sighted
from Ashdod by Magdi Shamuel at 20:13."
I do wish each and all a successful new moon search and joyous sighting.
