The sky this Thursday evening 17th December 2009 was extremely overcast and therefore could not have seen if the new moon had become visible after an hour and two minutes of searching from 17:38/sunset until 18:40.

    I could only now depend on http://www.NewMoonReport.org, http://www.PaleoTimes.org and http://www.TruthOfYahweh.org to know if the new moon was indeed sighted this 17/12/09 evening from the North America region including here in the Caribbean where I live on the island of Dominica my country of birth.
