It is indeed a great pleasure to report that the new moon of ABIB/Nisan marking
the beginning of the FIRST month and a new year on the Hebrew Bible calendar appeared and was visible to quite many of us
living in the west here in the Americas (including the Eastern Caribbean) on Thursday 3rd April 2003 just after sunset Wednesday
2nd. (A 24-hour day in the Bible begins and ends with sunset).
This means that we are now, BIBLICALLY, into a new year as of Thursday 3rd April 2003 which according
to the Israeli-Hebrew/Jewish calendar calculation is the year 5764.
"And Yahweh Spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall
be to you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
My desire and wish for us all as this new year progresses is that we desire and continue to seek out to our
Creator Yahweh for the fullness of His attainable Great wisdom, PRACTICALLY, through His Son our
Savior and Redeemer Yahshua.
A worship service, Biblically, is expected the evening new moons become visible(Numbers 28:11-15; Isaiah 66:23;
Colossians 2:16-17) and so therefore, a worship service in obedience to Yahweh's command was set in motion on the same
Wednesday evening 2nd April 2003 the year-beginning ABIB/Nisan new moon was
spotted over the western horizon.
Service was being well attended with a full house which included new visitors who were invited by some
members of the Assembly. A fellowship meal also followed the new moon of ABIB/Nisan
Evening 14th Abib
Where Will You Be At This Time of Year?
The purpose why Yahweh our Creator has commanded that we "observe(guard,
look for) the new moon of Abib..."(Deuteronomy 16:1), is just so that we may correctly
keep His passover and at the right time of the year, in the right season, which is the new moon that becomes visible at
the time that the Barley is grown in harvesting quantity in Israel as Winter ends and Spring begins(Psalm 65:9-13) and the
Barley ear/corn/grain is GREEN which is what the word Abib means, GREEN EARS, referring to the GREEN EARS of Barley.
"Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover to Yahweh your Elohim; for in the month of Abib Yahweh
your Elohim brought you forth out of Egypt by night."
A prime example of the Passover is set out for us in Exodus 12 where it was first being instructed
to Moses and Aaron while they were in Egypt some 20 days before the Israeli crossing of the red sea.
The correct time of the year when He has commanded that we observe His passover in the evening/beginning of
the 14th(just after sunset of the 13th) day of the first month of ABIB/Nisan will
this year occur and be observed on Tuesday evening 15th April 2003.
"In the fourteenth day of the first month at evening is Yahweh's passover."
"And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of Yahweh."
In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, you shall have the passover..."
1 Corinthians 5:7
"Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even [the
Messiah] our passover is sacrificed for us:"
This memorial religious service in remembrance of our Savior's Passover death for the redemption
of mankind is carded to begin at about 7:00pm ECT(-4 GMT) where I worship here on the island of Dominica.
Our Savior's command to observe His Passover death involves the washing of each others feet, the breaking
and eating of the unleavened bread representing His body and, the drinking of the fruit of the vine representing His
shedded blood for the redemption of mankind:
"Now before the feast of the passover, when Yahshua knew that His hour was come that He should depart
out of this world to the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them to the end. And supper being
ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him; Yahshua knowing that the Father
had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from Yahweh, and went to Yahweh; He rises from supper, and laid
aside His garments; and took a towel, and girded Himself. After that He pours water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples'
feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded. Then comes He to Simon Peter: and Peter says to Him, Sovereign,
do You wash my feet? Yahshua answered and said to him, What I do you know not now; but you shall
know hereafter. Peter says to Him, You shall never wash my feet. Yahshua answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with Me. Simon Peter says to Him, Sovereign,
not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Yahshua says to him, He that is washed need not
save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and you are clean, but not all. For He knew who
should betray Him; therefore said He, You are not all clean. So after
He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, and was set down again, He said to them, Know
you what I have done to you? You call Me master and Sovereign: and you say well; for so I am. If I then, your Sovereign and
Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should
do as I have done to you. Verily, Verily, I say to you, The servant is not greater than his sovereign; neither he that is
sent greater than he that sent him. If you know these things, happy are you if you do them."
Matthew 26:17-21, 26-29
"Now the first day of the feast of unleavened the disciples came to Yahshua, saying to Him, Where will
You that we prepare for You to eat the passover? And He said, Go into the city to such a man, and say
to him, The Master says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with My disciples.
And the disciples did as Yahshua had appointed them; and they made ready the passover. Now when the evening was come, He sat
down with the twelve. And as they did eat, He said, Verily I say to you, that one of you shall
betray Me. And as they were eating, Yahshua took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and
gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. And
He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink you all of it; For this is My blood
of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink hereafter of this
fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."
Mark 14:12-18, 22-25
"And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, His disciples said to Him, Where
will you that we go and prepare that You may eat the passover? And He sends forth two of His disciples, and says to them,
Go you into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And
wherever he shall go in, say you to the goodman of the house, The Master says, Where is the guest chamber, where I shall eat
the passover with My disciples? And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. And His disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as He had said to them: and they made ready
the passover. And in the evening He comes with the twelve. And as they sat and did eat, Yahshua said, Verily
I say to you, One of you which eats with me shall betray Me. And as they did eat, Yahshua took
bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is My body. And He took the cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And He said
to them, This is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Verily I say to you, I
will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of Yahweh."
Luke 22:7-8, 13-20
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. And He sent Peter and John,
saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. And
they went...and they made ready the passover. And when the hour was come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. And
He said to them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: For
I say to you, I will not anymore eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of Yahweh. And
He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves: For I say
to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of Yahweh shall come. And
He took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is
given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."
1 Corinthians 11:23-26
"For I have received of the Sovereign that which also I delivered to you, That the Sovereign Yahshua the
same night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, Take,
eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. After the same manner
also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this
do you, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as you eat this bread, and
drink this cup, you do show the Sovereign's death till He come."
A direct participation in this religious rite of Yahweh's commanded
Passover to wash each others feet, eat of the bread and drink of the cup/fruit of the vine is allowed only
to those who have repented and have had their sins been washed away by way of having been baptized(immersed) in the Saving
Name of our Savior and Redeemer YAHSHUA the Messiah by an ordained ministering Elder/Pastor
who himself had repented, been baptized(immersed) and ordained a Minister in YAHSHUA
the Son of our heavenly Father YAHWEH.
Exodus 12:43-45, 47-48
"And Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There
shall no stranger eat thereof: But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall
he eat thereof. A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat thereof. All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. And
when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let
him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof."

to be baptized(immersed) in the Name of our Savior and Redeemer YAHSHUA the Messiah by
an ordained Minister of Religion in YAHWEH for the remission(washing away) of your sins in transgressing
our Creator's law, however, does not exempt you from accepting the invitation to be present at this commemorative service

Feast of Unleavened Bread
Immediately following the Passover day begins the Feast of Unleavened Bread for a duration of seven(7)
days commencing Wednesday sunset 16th April through until Wednesday sunset 23rd April when bread eaten MUST be bread/pastries/biscuits
that does not contain anything that's leavening.
The first day(Thursday 17th April) and the last day(Wednesday 23rd April) are ANNUAL Sabbath
days of rest and worship, a holy convocation.
Morning worship service on the first day(Thursday 17th April) and on the last day(Wednesday
23rd April) begins at 10:30am ECT(-4 GMT).
The Bible commands as follows concerning this feast:
"Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses:
for whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. And in
the first day there shall be a holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be a holy convocation to you; no manner
of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that may be done of you. And you shall observe the feast
of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall you observe
this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening,
you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth dayof the month at evening. Seven days shall no leaven be
found in your houses: for whosoever eats that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of
Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall you eat
Exodus 13:6-7, 10

bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall be no leavened bread be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen
with you in all your quarters. You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year."
1 Corinthians 5:8
"Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
