12th new moon greetings to all!
I reported last
evening Sunday 10th February 2013:
"Though www.CrescentMoonWatch.org's imagery prediction does not show the near possibility that the 12th new moon could be sighted from the Caribbean this evening
Sunday 10th February 2013 as it does for the west half of U.S.A., I nevertheless took the journey out in search of it from
sunset/18:08 to 18:44 during which time the sky was pretty much clear enough to have been able of sighting it if it had appeared.
The only thing I saw was the star that is always first to appear above the horizon as it gets dark enough allowing it to be
seen. A new moon under 20 hours old is usually not easy to be seen from my part of the world. It was 14 hrs 48 min old this
evening at sunset. www.TruthofYahweh.org awaits new moon confirmation for this evening Sunday 10th February 2013. The likelihood looks extremely high of it being
seen from the west half of U.S.A. this evening according to www.CrescentMoonWatch.org."
My report this
Monday evening 11th February 2013 is that there was only one confirmation via www.TruthOfYahweh.org that it was sighted
from Arizona, U.S.A. last evening Sunday 10th February 2013 and from no where else and, that's the only website I'm finding
to have received a confirmation for last evening.
I proceeded therefore to go on a tour search this Monday evening
11th February 2013 as well in search for the new moon. It turned 38 hrs 48 min old when the sun set at 18:08 and was 38 hrs
50 min old when I made the first eye contact with it at 18:10, two (2) minutes after sunset.
Great, bright, beautiful,
clear weather conditions and cloudless sky throughout my sighting of and continued observation of the new moon from 18:10
to 18:36 during this 11/02/2013 evening's visible appearing of the biblical
12th new moon to Dominica (NOT Dominican Republic).
A local call came in from Deacon Russell Bertrand at 18:33 confirming of his sighting of the
new moon and was in fact looking at it while speaking with me.
Five (5) minutes later was an overseas call coming in
from the island of Trinidad at 18:38 and on the phone was the voice of Elder Locksley Joseph confirming that he and his wife
have sighted the new moon. He's very much looking forward to the new moon of Abib and upon inquiring, was informed that whether
or not this upcoming March 2013 new moon will be the new moon of Abib first month of the biblical new year, depends on reported
findings from searches to be conducted for barley Abib in the fields of Israel during the days leading up to Tuesday 12th March 2013 inclusive.
I missed a local call which came in at 20:48 and was followed
by a text/SMS 3 minutes later at 20:51 from Bro. Craig Massicot informing that he saw the new moon at about 18:00.
For
the records, three (3) of us locally and two (2) from overseas in Trinidad sighted this past Monday evening 11th February
2013 biblical 12th new moon.
It's position this 12th new lighting is just the same as it was for its 11 new lighting 30
evenings ago, to the north of sunset, tilting northward as can be seen in these photographs taken:
What will be it's position for its next new lighting, come March 2013, which, contingent
on the barley crop in Israel in 4 weeks time, might be the beginning point of a new year on the biblical/scriptural calendar?We
now await whatever Yahweh's decision will be in four (4) weeks time concerning His barley and upcoming March 2013 new moon. www.Paleotimes.org states in their report of this past new moon: "Barley is expected to be in Abib around March
12th. Previous experience would point to March 12 th as being one of the earliest Abib new
moons in the last 40 years. Abib may be delayed one new moon depending on the Barley’s maturity. The next
new moon will either be Abib or the 13 th new moon. Based on past years Abib is most likely going to be March 12 th.
Just in case the timing changes you might consider tentatively scheduling both March and April feast dates."
