New Moon Sighted; Bible 7th Month Begins!

Shalom Friends and Visitors!

The sighting of this new moon marks the beginning of the Bible 7th month Ethanim in which month we are being commanded to observe the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles as stipulated in the book of Leviticus chapter 23. The new moon, 1st day of this Bible 7th month Ethanim is the only new moon day in the year the Bible declare is a holy Sabbath day in praise and worship to our Creator. This new moon day of the 7th month Ethanim the Bible declares is The Feast of Trumpets or the day of the blowing of Trumpets.

I did not sight this 7th new moon of the year inspite of a much careful and deligent search on Friday evening 26th September 2003 here in Roseau, Dominica.

However, I received confirmation from a faithful believing friend in U.S.A. that he received confirmation from two native believing friends that they had sighted the Ethanim new moon. This is his report to me:

Yom Teruah, I received a late report that the new moon was sighted in Omaha, Nebraska by Gary and Stacy Mansager Friday night 26 Sept. 2003. I called Gary and spoke with him about the sighting. These are two people that I know personally and trust in their abilities concerning new moon sightings. No other reports have been received by me for Friday night. Good Shabbat and Trumpets!

Sorry I could not get this out to you sooner.

Shalom,
Rich Lobert

Friday, September 26th, 2003.

Then I received yet a second communication from within U.S.A. and this time from a next faithful new moon spotter and here is what he reports:

Greetings brethren,

Brother Gary Mansager reported that his wife Stacey and he saw the new moon tonight in Omaha, Nebraska. Sister Karen in Headland, Alabama reported seeing the new moon tonight.

Praise Yahweh the Memorial of trumpets is here! The sound of Teruah is part of the command for Yom Teruah.
