Hi dear friends!

 

Greetings to you and those of you who take the time out to as well look out for the new moon as the Bible commands us to do.

 

You would know by now that some new moons carry 29 days and some 30 days.

 

The 29th day of the past moon which was the Bible 5th month was this past Monday 16th August 2004. A search for this past new moon was made as soon as the sun was set the 29th day and lasted for over an hour but, I did not see it. I however found at www.TruthofYahweh.org of only one single reporting of a received confirmation originating from Tucson, Orizona, USA that the new moon was sighted by that single individual only. Other websites did not receive any confirmation whereby they could have declared Monday evening 16th August 2004 new moon evening while the above mentioned website did.

 

Based on Scripture that any matter can only be confirmed at the mouth of two or three witnesses including in the case of confirming the sighting of any visible new moon, these other websites are all confirming that the new moon beginning the Bible 6th month Elul(see Nehemiah 6:15) was sighted from both Israel in the Middle East and the United States in the West by many on Tuesday evening 17th August 2004 which would make Wednesday 18th August 2004 the new moon 1st day of the Bible 6th month Elul if the one and only reported new moon sighting from Tucson, Arizona, USA to the www.TruthofYahweh.org new moon website on Monday evening 16th August 2004 is to be disregarded.

 

Read Haggai chapter 1 in your Bible for the Bible history on this new moon first day of the Bible 6th month and see each and every new moon as a time of rebuilding of the former zeal that we once had for Yahweh when we first received His calling us into His fold.
