At a public political meeting held on Tuesday evening 5th April 2005 in Berricoa--Grand Bay, Political Leader of the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) and {Coalition} Prime Minister of Dominica, the Rt. Hon. Roosevelt Skeritt, announced to the gathered DLP supporters that he has met with the President of Dominica and have so advised him (the President) of the date on which to desolve Parliament (Wednesday 6th April 2005), to declare as nomination day (Monday 18th April 2005) and of the date on which Parliamentary-General Elections shall be held (Thursday 5th May 2005), respectively.
