New moon evening greetings to each and all!
I have this Wednesday evening 9th January 2008 seen the new moon of the Bible 11th month Sebat (Shebat) at
6:26pm, as much as 35 minutes after sunset, all due to scattered clouds which hindered what would have been an earlier
sighting.
While to some that a new year has already begun, what was January 1st new year's day last week Tuesday in the eyes
of those who don't know better, was on the Bible calendar the lunar 21st day of the Bible 10th month Tebeth. How
great it is indeed to know the Bible correct way of things as Yahweh meant it for us way back from Genesis 1:14.
HalleluYah!

On Wednesday January 9, 2008 observers across Israel looked for the new moon but it was not sighted. There was
heavy cloud coverage. The moon had 1.38% illumination and 56 minutes lagtime which puts it within the potential visibility
range based on previous sightings from Israel.
