YAHWEH, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. 2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in Elohim. Selah. 3 But You, O Yahweh, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head. 4 I cried to Yahweh with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awakened; for Yahweh sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. 7 Arise, O Yahweh; save me, O my Elohim: for You have smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone; You have broken the teeth of the [wicked]. 8 Salvation belongs to Yahweh: Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah.  

 

 

HEAR me when I call, O Elohim of my righteousness: You have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer. 2 O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? how long will you love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. 3 But know that Yahweh has set apart him that is [righteous] for Himself: Yahweh will hear when I call to Him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in Yahweh. 6 There be many that say, who will show us any good? Yahweh, lift You up the light of Your countenance upon us. 7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. 8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for You, Yahweh, only make me dwell in safety.

 

 

GIVE ear to my words, O Yahweh, consider my meditation. 2 Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my Elohim: for to you will I pray. 3 My voice shall You hear in the morning, O Yahweh; in the morning will I direct my prayer to You, and will look up. 4 For You are not an El that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with You. 5 The foolish shall not stand in Your sight: You hate all workers of iniquity. 6 You shall destroy them that speak leasing: Yahweh will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. 7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy: and in Your fear will I worship toward Your holy temple. 8 Lead me, O Yahweh, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face. 9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue. 10 Destroy You them, O Elohim; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against You. 11 But let all those that put their trust in You rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them: let them also that love Your name be joyful in You. 12 For You, Yahweh, will bless the righteous; with favor will You compass him as with a shield.
