The new moon marking the beginning of the Bible second month Zif (please see http://yaiy.org/news/1001news.html) became quite clearly visible here in Dominica at 18:43 when I caught sight of it this evening Thursday
15th April 2010 after clouds cleared off from the area at which our Creator located it for visibility.
The star called Venus was straight above where the sun set and the new moon was
located center of the space in between the star and the horizon, but a bit north of where the sun set. Our Deacon on island also
gave me a call at about 18:46 with his report of having sighted this evening's new moon.
