A Bible happy new year greetings to each and everyone of you on my e-mailing list.
The following received reportings
on the barley Abib from
Israel
is more than sufficient to confirm the new moon that a number of us here in Dominica have sighted including myself at
6:40pm, Bro.
Craig Massicot at
6:43pm, Elder Felix Thomas and his wife Sis. Clemencia Thomas
at
6:44pm
marks the beginning of the first month (of Abib) on the Bible calendar from this evening Monday 04th April 2011.
Beginning from this evening Monday 04th April 2011 therefore, the new-moon-first-day of the Bible new year (5772/5847 on Jewish
calendars) is
Tuesday
05th April 2011.
The memorial observance of our Savior's
Passover
death is certain therefore for
Sunday evening 17th April on the evening of the lunar 14th day of this month-moon of Abib (following
sunset of the lunar 13th day) immediately followed by the 7-day
Feast of Unleavened Bread from Monday sunset 18th through till Monday
sunset
25th April
2011.
Leaven must not be in our homes nor eaten into our bodies during the Bible 7-day
Feast of Unleavened Bread.
The first day, Tuesday 19th (15th Abib), and the last day, Monday 25th
(21st Abib), are Bible commanded annual
holy Sabbath days of rest and worship.
Nightly services for eight (8) consecutive evenings, beginning with the memorial observance of our Savior's Passover death
on Sunday evening
17th, runs through till
Sunday
evening 24th April 2011.
This evening (Monday 04th April 2011) of the sighting of the new
moon of Abib will sure not pass us (Yahweh's New Covenant Assembly in Dominica or Yahweh's Assembly in Yahshua) by without
a congregational assembling in praise, worship and thanks to our Creator Yahweh.
Happy new-moon-first-day of the Bible
first month-moon of Abib to ALL,
Augustus Paul

Barley
Abib Report from Ma'ale AdummimDear Augustus,
Due to the very late rains in Israel, there is very little barley growing
in Ma'ale Adummim but what there is is only a couple of days from the aviv stage. In Jerusalem, the barley (see
photos) is at the worm stage, about a week before aviv. Based on this, the barley in the Jordan valley and northern Negev
is likely to have been at the aviv stage about a week ago.

Roy Hoffman

Aviv
Found in the Jordan
Valley! On Wednesday March 30, 2011 Aviv was found in the Jordan Valley at Tel Malkoach south
of Beth Shean. A search in the Northern Negev on Thursday March 31, 2011 only turned up cotton stage to worm stage barley
but no Aviv. The Aviv in the Jordan Valley is enough for the wave-sheaf to be brought during Chag HaMatzot (Feast of Unleavened
Bread) beginning
April
18 at sunset. Pictures of the Aviv barley in the Jordan Valley and the non-Aviv in the Northern Negev are posted at:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=293928&id=371892568628&l=117d55c868Reports have been going around that Passover was supposed to be in mid-March and 30% of the wheat was already harvested
by the end of March. I went down to the Northern Negev to investigate this and found that there was not a single field of
harvest-ripe wheat. Many fields were cut for silage (cow-feed) before the wheat was fully ripe. We spoke to a dairy-farmer
overseeing the harvest of unripe wheat. He explained that due to a drought the farmers expected low yields of seed and decided
to sell off the unripe empty-headed grain as cow-feed. A video with the (admittedly obnoxious) title "Wheat Harvest in Israel.
Oh, Really?" showing these fields and a brief interview with the cow-dude is posted at:

http://ComingHome.co.il for editing the video and accompanying me on the followup Aviv Search to the Northern Negev. My thanks to Yoel Halevi for
accompanying me on the followup Aviv Search to the Jordan Valley.
We'll be looking for the new moon
on Monday night at sunset.

April 18 at sunset.
Looks like I messed
up the dates on my last newsletter about finding Aviv barley on March 30 in the Jordan valley when it was in fact March 29.
Thanks to Botaniska Föreningen for catching this oversight. This doesn't change the conclusions.
Shanah Tovah!
Happy
New Year!
