"Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was
a fire on the hearth burning before him”(Jeremiah 36:22, KJV).
At the visible appearing of the new moon on Monday evening 24th November 2003 (and a 24-hour day in the Bible begins
and ends with sunset, Leviticus 23:32), the Bible ninth month(moon) Chisleu(Nehemiah 1:1; Zechariah 7:1) began on Tuesday
25th November 2003 and ended with 30 days on Wednesday sunset 24th December 2003. Translators of The Living Bible(TLB) CORRECTLY understands the time of year, in the dead cold
of winter, on the Bible calendar where the ninth month(moon) occurs is exactly where, on the Gregorian-Roman calendar, that
is being referred to as the month of December and therefore, translates/interprets Jeremiah 36:22 thus: “The king was in a winterized part of the palace at the time, sitting in front of a fireplace, for it was December
and cold”(Jeremiah 36:22, TLB). As you will have noticed in the above discuss on the Bible ninth month Chisleu (upon
checking), November 2003 closed on the 6th day of Chisleu with the remaining 24 days running into December 2003.
The TLB translators are therefore and most certainly citing the time in the Bible ninth month when the (Israeli) king was in a winterized part of the palace sitting in front
of a fireplace warming himself from the winter coldness is what is on the Roman calendar known as December. This same
December, a Roman-Latin word meaning ten, was the tenth month on the original
Roman calendar which then began the year with March, in the early of Spring, at which time the new moon of ABIB/Nisan becomes
visible (in March/April) following the growing of the Barley(Exodus 9:31) in the Middle East at the time the ears/grain/corn
of the Barley is GREEN. Count the days and BEGIN looking for the next NEW MOON over the western horizon at the sunset-end
of the 29th day of EACH moon. Some new moons are visible after 29 days and some moons, carrying 30 days, are visible
after the sunset-end of the 30th day. But the searching of each new moon is to ALWAYS begin at the end of EACH
29th day as sun sets. As are the Sabbaths, so is also the new moon a feast in praise and worship to our Creator(Numbers
28:11-15; Deuteronomy 1:1-5; 1 Samuel 20:18, 24; 2 Kings 4:22-23; Isaiah 66:23) in the same evening the new moon makes its
appearing. With the last new moon becoming visible to our naked eyes on Thursday evening 22nd January 2004 (and
a 24-hour day in the Bible begins and ends with sunset), Friday 23rd January 2004 therefore was the new moon, FIRST(1st)
day of the 11th month Sebat(Zechariah 1:7) on the Bible calendar. The 12th and last month of the year
on the Bible calendar is being therefore carded to begin on Sunday 22nd February 2004 from Saturday(Sabbath) sunset
21st where the next new moon beginning the Bible 12th month Adar(Ezra 6:15; Esther 3:7, 13; 8:12; 9:1,
15, 17, 19, 21) is being carded to make its appearing. A new year therefore, in keeping with the BIBLE calendar, will begin
with the new moon called the month of Abib/Nisan(Exodus 13:4; 23:15; 34:18; Deuteronomy
16:1; Nehemiah 2:1; Esther 3:7) in the Bible which is carded to make its appearing on Sunday evening 21st March
2004 which IF it does, Monday 22nd March 2004 is ABIB new moon day
marking the beginning, FIRST day of the FIRST month of the new year providing that the BARLEY is grown and the ears/grain/corn
of the BARLEY is GREEN in the Middle East at the time of the appearing of the March 2004 new moon carded to begin the new
year (5765). “‘Look/watch for’ the ‘new moon that becomes
visible at the time the Barley ears/grain/corn is GREEN’…This ‘new moon’ shall be to you the beginning/FIRST
of ‘new moons’: it shall be the first ‘new moon’ of the year to you”(Deuteronomy 16:1a;
Exodus 12:2) as soon as Spring begins showering the atmosphere with warmth and life(Psalm 65:9-13). A proper tract keeping
of visible new moons which marks the beginning of each Bible calendar month assures the accurate time season and weather climate
in which to begin the year and to observe the Bible commanded annual observances at the correct and appointed times in the
year beginning from the first month(moon) in Spring. “Observe(look/watch
for) the month(new moon) of Abib(green
ears of Barley), and keep the passover to [Yahweh] your [Elohim], for in the month(moon) of Abib [Yahweh] your [Elohim] brought you forth out of Egypt by night”(Deuteronomy
16:1). “In the fourteenth day of [Abib]
the first month(moon) at evening [following sunset of the 13th] is [Yahweh’s] passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month [Abib] is the feast of unleavened bread to [Yahweh]: seven days (15th-21st
Abib) you must eat unleavened bread. In the first day (15th Abib) you shall have a holy convocation(worship service gathering): you shall do no servile work therein. But you shall offer an offering made by fire to [Yahweh] seven days: in the
seventh day (21st Abib) is a holy convocation: you shall do no servile
work therein”(Leviticus 23:5-8). “…even the first day you shall
put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day (15th Abib) until the seventh day (21st Abib), that soul shall be cut
off from Israel. …Seven days (15th-21st Abib) shall there be no leaven
found in your houses…in all your habitations shall you eat unleavened bread”(Exodus 12:15,19-20).
“…For even [the Messiah] our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore
let us keep the feast [of unleavened bread], not with old leaven, neither with
the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth”(1 Corinthians 5:7-8).
