Shalom to each and all and thanks for publishing the 'Back To School' Prayer and Fast announcement
that was being disemminated to you. You did a fantastic job in having publish that prayer and fast activity on to your online
Newsletter, those of you who did.
Well everything went well with that 'Back To School' Prayer and Fast and the related prayer
and fast service gathering as planned!
Youth Awareness and Amendment(Y.A.A.) who called for that fast were graced with the presence of the
Elders and their families along with other brethren who were present at that prayer and fast service gathering.
The service was being moderated by the Deacon in our midst and messages/exhortations came from himself the Deacon and
other ministering brothers. Three male members of Y.A.A. were given at one point in time during the service
to read a designated Psalm and to offer a word of prayer before the congregation.
In all and in all, that prayer and fast is indeed a resounding success. The next fast of course as we all know is the
upcoming Bible commanded Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) Sabbath scripturally occuring on the 10th day of the 7th moon Ethanim
for which we all are to gear up ourselves. May each and everyone of us look forward to enduring throughout Yom Kippur when
it will have arrived with the strength required and the humility to be at-one-ment with our Creator and fellowmen.
So far all those who are in the assembly who are going to school have all returned to their respective class rooms and
we all are now looking forward to the upcoming autumn/fall festivals. The grandest of course is the 7-days Feast of Tabernacles
(followed by the 8th day) and plans and preparations are well on the way. Preparations have already begun on the feast/camp
site and activities for each day of the feast have already been planned and is being put in place.
We sure will begin looking out for this upcoming 7th new moon carded to become visible this week Friday(Sabbath) evening
26th September 2003 and would like the participation of all who would have seen this upcoming 7th new moon when it will have
been sighted to assist with assuring us that it has indeed become visible and been sighted so that we here at YNCA In
Dominica could be on the right footing should we here in Dominica not see this new moon when it will have become visible.
